Our Mission

Skylar Pictures LLC is a full service independent media production company dedicated to producing independently funded Short films, Feature length Movies, Documentaries and Television Productions which bring social awareness and promote audience engagement to order to foster positive social change globally.

We try to dictate new standards while raising the current standard of the production machine within the industry by thinking outside the box and awarding innovative explorations in the course of bringing wholesome entertainment to the public.

Skylar productions focus on the diaspora struggle and unrepresented voices in society while endorsing socio-ethnic edification within the motion picture and television industry and fostering a solid commitment to the integrity of unrepresented communities.

We have developed and produced successful short films, television shows and theatrical motion pictures by using our talent and knowledge of production, financial management, promotion and marketing to stay ahead of the curb in the global entertainment landscape. Our films have debuted in prestigious festival such as; The Pan African Film Festival, Action on Film International Film Festival, San Francisco Black Film Festival, Denton Black Film Festival, Oakland International Film Festival, UK BUFF AWARDS, Festival International du Pan Africain Cannes, Capital City Black Film Festival, The Langston Hughes African American Film Festival and The AFRICA MOVIE ACADEMY AWARDS.
